Neal Van Slett began making guitars in 1999 as keepsakes for his sons, and hasn’t stopped since. With over 25 years of precision- demanding tool making and exceptional custom woodworking, he has found his niche.

VESPER GUITARS are custom-built masterpieces – works of art to inspire works of music. The guitars are custom in the truest sense of the word. Neal is a self-taught luthier. He creates many of the tools used in the guitar crafting process, and is highly selective in his wood choices. Neal is dedicated to the relentless pursuit of perfection in tone, structure, and aesthetic beauty.
