right out of the box, your instrument can be set up by renown master luthier Denny Rauen of

like a dream. Also, click HERE to check out Denny's new DVD on guitar setup and repair. many of the guitars featured in this Hal Leonard DVD were provided by J Hale Music.
Regardless of whether your new guitar is setup in our Custom Shop or by Rauen Guitars, each instrument is carefully inspected and adjusted to make sure no detail
is overlooked. Action is set, intonation is perfected, frets are leveled,
polished and crowned. For those instruments setup by Rauen, a card certifying "Rauen Guitars state of the art setup" will be included with each instrument.
Here is the Six Step Process Used By Rauen And By Our Custom Shop
1.
Frets are leveled and then individually crowned and polished
2.
Guitar is restrung, tuned up to pitch, and then trussrod is adjusted
3. Action is adjusted
and guitar is then set aside to acclimate to the new adjustments |
4.
After the guitar has acclimated under full tension the final adjustments
are made. This includes tweaking the trussrod and balancing the radius
of the bridge and nut.
5.
At this point the bridge position is tempered for the best intonation
and pickups and electronics are also checked and adjusted.
6. Final check by
Master Luthier Denny Rauen completes the job. |
